Lisa Hill, Level 5 MELT Method Instructor
Lisa is a fully qualified MELT Method Instructor based in the UK with over 25 years’ experience in the fitness industry.
She is passionate about helping people feel better in their bodies, move with more ease and stay active for the things they love doing. Her work is centred around helping clients build confidence, reduce pain and create a more balanced approach to fitness and self-care.
Lisa teaches over 15 classes every week, supporting a wide range of clients from beginners to advanced movers. Her classes are welcoming, supportive and suitable for different ages, abilities and stages of life.
As a Level 5 MELT Method Instructor, Lisa supports clients at many different stages, from those wanting to move more freely and stay active, to those who need a little more guidance or are rebuilding confidence in their body. She takes great pleasure in seeing clients make progress, often noticing changes not just in how they move, but in what they feel able to do in everyday life.
Lisa is also qualified to work with ante and postnatal clients and older adults. She teaches a weekly class specifically for older adults and has developed a strong understanding of menopause, supporting women through this stage with kindness, practical movement and encouragement.
Lisa has been delighted to receive the Prestige Awards in the fitness industry for London and the South-East from 2022 to 2025.

Jo Borgia. Level 2 MELT Method Instructor
Jo is a Level 2 MELT Instructor and has been part of Lisa Hill Balanced Fitness for the past two and a half years.
Before training as an instructor, Jo was a client of Lisa’s for 15 years, so she brings a deep understanding of the method from both sides, as someone who has experienced the benefits of MELT herself and now supports others in their own practice.
Jo teaches the Beginner and Intermediate MELT classes, helping clients build confidence, understand the foundations and progress at a pace that feels right for them.
She brings a wonderful sense of calm to the team and always receives lovely feedback from clients. Her teaching style is supportive, steady and reassuring, which makes her a much-loved part of the Lisa Hill Balanced Fitness community.
Jo also covers Lisa’s classes when she is away, offering clients continuity, care and confidence in safe hands.

Matt is currently Europe's only male MELT Method Instructor offering sessions and workshops, including the first Men’s Only MELT sessions globally. All his sessions help people move more comfortably, reduce everyday aches and pains and reconnect with their bodies through simple self-care techniques.
Matt first discovered MELT in 2024 while organising the Mindset Unlimited Festival. After just one session with Lisa Hill, he was amazed by how quickly he felt the positive effects. Through the festival Matt had experienced many different wellbeing modalities, but MELT stood out for its powerful yet simple approach that combines gentle self-treatment, breathwork and mindfulness. Matt is qualified in Hand & Foot & Level 1 and specialises in accessible treatments that create noticeable whole-body changes. His sessions focus on helping people release accumulated tension from modern lifestyles, improve mobility and feel more comfortable in their bodies. Matt also covers Lisa’s classes when she is away, offering clients continuity, care and confidence in safe hands.

She knows the correct balance between just how much to push you, and ensuring you don't do too much (with pre-existing health conditions). She knows each of her clients well and makes you feel at ease throughout.
