Lisa Hill Balanced Fitness helps clients move more comfortably, feel stronger and stay active for the things they love doing.
With over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Lisa has built her business around helping people feel better in their bodies. Her work brings together Personal Training, Pilates, MELT and supportive movement to help clients improve mobility, reduce tension, build strength and move with more confidence.
Lisa became a Personal Trainer in 2002 and has been a qualified Pilates Instructor for over 12 years. She is also a Level 5 MELT Instructor and has been teaching MELT for the past five years. During that time, MELT has become a huge part of Lisa Hill Balanced Fitness, helping clients feel more connected to their bodies and more able to enjoy everyday life.
Lisa is delighted to have Jo Borgia and Matt Keel working alongside her. The three of them make a great team, each bringing their own personality, strengths and teaching style to the classes. Jo teaches Beginner and Intermediate MELT classes and brings a calm, steady and reassuring approach. She helps clients build confidence, understand the foundations and progress at a pace that feels right for them. Matt teaches Beginner MELT classes, as well as a Men’s only class. His approachable and supportive teaching style has been a lovely addition, helping more people feel comfortable starting MELT. Between Lisa, Jo and Matt, Lisa Hill Balanced Fitness now offers 20 classes a week, giving clients more choice, more support and more opportunities to stay consistent. Classes are held at Lisa's private studio in Wokingham, Berkshire and at The Pavilion at Crowthorne Tennis Club, Nine Mile Ride, RG40 3XA. Online classes are also available for clients who prefer to join from home.
At the heart of Lisa Hill Balanced Fitness is a warm and supportive community. The aim is not perfection, but steady progress. It is about helping people understand their bodies, move with more ease and keep doing the things that matter to them.
Lisa is passionate about a Balanced Fitness approach to good health and it is testament to her that many of her clients have been with her for as long as she has been teaching. Lisa is also proud to have received the Prestige Awards Pilates Classes of the Year for London and the South-East for two years running, 2022 and 2023. In addition, Lisa has most recently won Personal Trainer of the Year, South England Prestige Program 2023/24.
