Senior Stability & Strength Class

I'm delighted to be offering Pilates classes in the studio specifically for Older Adults. This class is suitable for anyone over the age of 65. It is a small group session which will be taught in my studio in Wokingham with the focus on improving posture, mobility, functionality and overall wellbeing.T

I strongly believe you are never too old to make changes to benefit your health and there are plenty of advantages by doing Pilates as we get older. It can help to slow down bone mass changes, which can then in turn help to reduce the risk of fractures from a fall. Falls can be prevented by having better balance and co-ordination and I will ensure we perform balance exercises every week in the classes to help reduce these risks.

Other benefits that can be achieved through attending these classes are improved sleep, improved cognitive and brain function and can help to lower blood pressure.

The class is held on Thursdays at 2.15pm.
